My birthday, and a late night blog

For those of you who care, here is an update on my life. I finally have settled in. Above is my apartment. BUYING YOUR OWN TOILET PAPER SUCKS. And now I have to remind myself that I can't fall asleep with the light on because I have to pay for electricity. And the maintenance guy hasn't fixed our garbage disposal so that's super annoying waiting. But other than that stuff, I'm kind of in love with everything in my life right now. I will show you in pictures.

Brenden was with me for a good portion of time before school started. I was pretty happy because we didn't fight at all, and that's a wonderful sign. He's completely adorable and lovely. I don't think I'm in the honeymoon phase anymore, but I still can't get over how cute he is and how lucky I am.

Brenden also got me this wonderful mermaid necklace for my birthday. He didn't know my birthstone so he just matched the gem to my eyes. Cheesy but really cute. I love it, not only because it's a mermaid but because it shows that he actually put thought into it. He's a complete gem. 

It was also my birthday on the 16th. My best friends from home came to visit and my friends from school were there as well.  My school friends made me a "Cinderella" Cup for me. It was a wonderful night!

Classes are wonderful. I only have one class a day, and I'm taking all journalism classes. I applied for a job as a Digital Corps Apprentice position, and I'm hoping so much that I get the job. My job would be just to learn about design and advertising. In this job I would get certified in different types of programs for my major. How much fun would that be!? AWESOME, right? It sounds like a dream job. Again, fingers crossed. 

I have a great apartment, great friends, and a GREAT boyfriend. My classes are also wonderful, and my job might be wonderful if all works out. 

Quick Update, I guess

Hello everyone, aka, people who sometimes glance at my blog.

I'm just going to do bulletin points and give an update about what's going on, because I should be sleeping.

• Like my last post stated, I'm in love with Jennifer Lawrence. She is my role model and I will model myself after her. I don't want to be her, but I'm going to look up to her.
• I move into my apartment tomorrow (Saturday.) THAT IS CRAZY. I am also freaking out because all of my furniture is being shipped to the Muncie Walmart, and it needs to be here by tomorrow. However, as of right now according to Fed-Ex, its in Independence, KY. So let's all pray that it gets there in time. 
• We also have our Comcast to worry about. Apparently the past tenants haven't cancelled their subscription so we can't start ours until they do which is crap! I need my wifi for all of my business and applications that I'm monitoring at the moment. So that's unacceptable. 
• My room is pretty packed up. Tomorrow I will shower and then pack up the last things I have not packed yet, like my toiletries. but basically the wait is over. I move in at noon Saturday, and I couldn't be more excited.
• I found a paid internship in Muncie for the school year, so I'm tweaking my resume and my work samples to try and get it.  It's an internship at a t-shirt company; I would be helping them design t-shirts. Which honestly sounds like a blast if I get the internship. I can't wait to hear back from them and I'm kind of nervous about it. But I updated my website! Check it out!
• I have all day tomorrow to burn 5 CDs of photos for people. I'm still kind of not sure as to how I'm going to get all of them to people. But who knows, I will figure it out. 
• I get to see Brenden on Saturday; I haven't seen him in 2 weeks.
• I get to see Danielle as well. I haven't seen her since MAY!
• I've also been obsessed with Shark Week. I've learned about the 100 ft shark, Megladon. He sounds amazing and I really hope that he didn't die and he's still wandering the huge part of the oceans that we haven't explored. 

So that's kind of a brief update of my life. Nothing really funny or interesting. Everything is just kind of pivotal at the moment. Lots of last minute packing.
