Ramblings of an 18 year old who can't sleep.

WHY CAN'T I SLEEP. Please just let me go to sleep. Ugh. It's 11:35 p.m. on a school night. PLEASE LET ME SLEEP.

I took more senior pictures today. What do you think?

I don't think they're that bad! I shouldn't be blogging this late. Ohhh, what to do! I seriously cannot go to sleep. I mean, it's probably from this weekend. I slept a good 12-14 hours each night including various naps throughout the day. So, I'm not worried about not being able to stay awake tomorrow, but still. I should be sleeping. I can't believe I do this to myself. I need to stay away from my social networking sites, aka Facebook, Twitter, BlogSpot, Tumblr, and Flickr. I can't help myself; I'm addicted.

I'm getting off. Right now. I swear.

I'm going.

Now.

Senior Yearbook Picture

Oh my goodness, I'm getting old.
Not too shabby! I like it. :)

Backtracking just a bit.

I'm pretty sure no one is going to read this, but I want to feel special and tell a bit about myself instead of starting a blog during the middle of my life.

First off, me.
Yep, right there.

I go to Lake Central High School, and I am a senior.  (I designed those t-shirts for my senior class, by the way.) I am in yearbook, and I am the president of Senior Class Cabinet.  I throw a frisbee lookin' thing around, otherwise known as a discus. My track team has been undefeated for three years now.

Family? Of course.

That's me, my father, my sister Hannah, and my mother Trish.  We all get along pretty well.
Oh, and I can't forget my baby!
His name is Walter, and he is SOOO CUTE. I've had him since I was 6. He's such an old man.

Best friends? Heck yes.
That's my best friend, Eryn! She's basically me, but her name isn't Rachel.

And that's Anna Banana! We've been best friends since 6th grade.

Hmmm... anything else?
That's basically it. For now!

It's Halloween time.

But anywho, my yearbook staff decided to throw a Halloween Party. Since I didn't want to spend $50 on a Pirate costume from the Halloween store, I decided to dress as one of my favorite people, Mrs. Sarah Verpooten. It's pretty easy for me to dress like her.  All you have to do is have brown curly hair, (we share that in common) and dress either in sparkly gray or all black. Also, she is pregnant. So I grabbed some of my t-shirts and stuck them under my shirt.

Pretty similar, huh? (We're on the right!) On the left is my other adviser, Ms. Carrie Wadycki and her look alike April VanMilligan. (Let's hope I spelled Wadycki right because she will kill me if I don't and I don't feel like double checking.)

But yes, I had alot of fun being a pregnant lady. It gave me numerous excuses to eat as much as I wanted.  But it get's tiring carrying around a big bulge on my stomach.  I get VP (Mrs. Verpooten) major props. I wasn't even really pregnant and I was getting tired!

Overall, a very fun Halloween. My festivities continue as I journey tomorrow to go visit Ryan. It's been three weeks since I've seen him, and I can't wait!

I just turned 18.

Well, not really. I turned 18 in August, but it is basically the same thing. First off, there is a lot that you have to get accustomed to.  Like for example, since I'm 18, I have to apply for colleges.

Seriously?? Let me tell you something, that is not easy! Deciding on what you want to do with the rest of your life doesn't seem like something that you can easily choose.  And those college application are ridiculous! And not including that, the scholarship information that you must send in for EACH scholarship is close to 6 or 7 pages each. Not a simple task.

I have decided that my number one school is going to be Columbia College in Chicago.  I would possibly major in design, but the correct major term is Advertising Art Design. Oh la la!

Another thing about being 18, is the fact that I could go to big kids jail. Not saying I would be likely to get arrested, but it's a scary thought.

Another thing that I had to witness was the passing of my dog, Zoey. She was 10 years old and she had bone cancer. It was her time to go, but it still was a terrible experience. I was with her until the very end.

I guess those are pretty random, but that's all the time I have for now!
